Terms of engagement

These terms govern sittings, briefings, reviews, and related written work offered by Toolkit Lighthouse from Office 12, 83 Example Lane, Petaling Jaya 00000. By sending a brief, paying a deposit, or attending a session, you accept them. If you are contracting for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

The work

We provide professional readings of marketplace app liquidity: assessments, operator briefings, publisher listing reviews, and follow-up watches as described on this site. The site is informational. A sitting begins only when we send a written fee note and you accept it. We do not operate a checkout, hold marketplace inventory, or take payment from end buyers of apps.

Your materials

You warrant that history extracts, listing URLs, and glossaries you send are yours to share, or that you have permission to share them. You remain responsible for stripping buyer identities when counts will do. We may refuse or halt a sitting if the extract appears unlawfully obtained.

Intellectual property

The written pack, maps, and notes we produce are licensed to you for internal use in the house that commissioned the sitting. You may share them with your board, staff, and professional advisers bound to confidence. You may not republish them as a ranking of other marketplaces, resell them, or present them as a product of your own authorship. Our methods, templates, and this website remain ours. Your catalog data remains yours.

Confidentiality

We keep extracts and packs confidential except where disclosure is required by Malaysian law, or where you ask us in writing to speak with a named adviser. We do not use your catalog as a public case study without your written permission. The letters on the reviews page are used with permission and are worded so that private numbers are not reproduced.

Liability

Our work is professional opinion based on the sample you provide and the window we agree. It is not a guarantee of future transfers, featured-slot performance, or the conduct of publishers and buyers. To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability for a sitting is limited to the fees you paid for that sitting. We are not liable for lost profits, lost placement, or decisions you take after the working session. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such a limit would be unlawful.

Payment

Fees are in Malaysian ringgit as set out in the fee note. Deposits hold calendar time. Balances are due on delivery of the pack or note. Late unpaid balances may pause follow-up work. Refunds, cancellations, and no-shows are described on the refund page.

Websites and forms

The contact form is a message to our desk. A success notice means the message reached our mock intake for this site; it is not a contract until a fee note is accepted. You must not use the form to send unlawful content or other people’s personal data that the sitting does not require.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect confidential materials. If a clause is held unenforceable, the remainder continues.

Changes
